Part 2: Supporting Your Child by Supporting Yourself

(Private Event)

One of the hardest parts of parenting is managing our own reactions when our children are upset. When parents learn to understand and regulate their own emotions, they are better able to respond with patience, clarity, and connection.

Parents will learn:

• Why children’s emotions can be triggering for parents
• The difference between causes and triggers in emotional reactions
• Strategies for staying grounded during challenging parenting moments
• Simple practices for self-awareness and emotional regulation
• How caring for our own emotional needs strengthens the parent-child relationship

Parents will leave with practical tools to support both their child’s emotional growth and their own wellbeing.
