Join me along with The Expert Talk for Summer Camp
(I will be facilitating 2 of the 8 online workshops)
Collaborative Communication is about transforming the way we connect, listen, and respond to one another at work. This training focuses on the communication patterns we’ve inherited from traditional schooling, workplace culture, family systems, and past experiences – patterns that often result in defensiveness, fixing, shutting down, proving a point, or preparing a response instead of truly listening and understanding.
Many of us were never taught how to communicate in ways that build trust, connection, and understanding during difficult conversations. Instead, we learned habits that can unintentionally create disconnection, especially in moments of stress, disagreement, or emotion. Over time, these patterns impact relationships, collaboration, and workplace culture in ways we may not even realize.
This session helps participants become more aware of the habits and assumptions they bring into conversations and introduces practical tools for communicating with greater presence, empathy, and curiosity. Participants explore how to listen more effectively, understand the deeper meaning beneath emotional reactions, and respond in ways that support connection rather than escalation or withdrawal.
Communication shapes how safe, respected, and understood people feel. When individuals feel heard without judgment or dismissal, trust grows, collaboration strengthens, and conversations become more productive and meaningful.
This training supports teams in creating workplace cultures where people can navigate feedback, conflict, differing perspectives, daily interactions, and emotionally charged conversations with greater skill and care.
